I have two earliest memories. 1: my younger brother coming home from the hospital after he was born. 2. Lying on my bed reading Little House In the Big Woods.

The ability to get jokes the FIRST time I hear them and to come up with witty come backs then instead of three or four days later!

When the Lights Go Out

If it's still daylight out I read a good book! If it's getting dark I dig out the coleman stove & have myself a BBQ! I nap, have some nooky, spend time with friends & family but, most importantly, I stay OFF the roads since the morons will be acting even worse!

One Thing I Learned Recently

there are two actually. Grace is gone & the Secret Life of #ees. I watchedboth shortly after my mom died & they were just what I needed at the time.

My Favorite Comfort Food

Mashed potatoes. It was one of my Mom's favorites & now that she's gone I make them when I'm feeling down or thinking of her.
